I had been scouring all the wedding sites and yelp for an affordable hair and makeup teams for my 6 bridesmaids, my mother, a flower girl, and myself.  I came across Jill's site and was impressed by her work and prices.  I sent her an inquiry email including an inspiration picture and brief description of how I envisioned myself on the big day.  The photo was of Jessica Alba from the Oscar a few years ago with a braided updo.  I made sure to make note in the description that I didn't want to look like a Latina Swiss Miss with the braids.  She assured me no Swiss Miss.  I went into to my trial and came out looking faboosh.  I couldn't have been happier.

The big day came and her team were already set up and ready to go ahead of the call time. I am a stickler for a punctuality.  Her team made all my ladies look like super models.  Their looks held up throughout the evening.  And of course we enjoyed all the compliments people had to give us about our new dos and fresh faces.  I would recommend Jill and her team to anyone looking to get purdy for any special event.

Jill is absolutely wonderful! A beautician friend of mine wasn't able to do my hair and makeup for my wedding, so I had only a few months to find a makeup artist that was both available and affordable. Jill was recommended to me by a friend and I'm so happy he recommended Jill to me.  She is quick to respond to email and very professional. Luckily she was available for my wedding-- whew!!

I had a lot of ideas for hair and makeup and Jill was able to help me narrow down what would work best with my dress and last throughout the wedding. At the hair and makeup trial she did two looks for me, both of which I liked. She also did my hair and makeup for my engagement photo shoot, which looked fantastic and lasted all day! The makeup wasn't overdone or looked overpowering at all in the photos. On my wedding day, Jill arrived on time and set up very quickly. Even though the lighting wasn't the best in my hotel room, she was able to work through it and work her magic. I still didn't know what I wanted done with my hair (which was terrible!) but Jill was able to put together a look that worked well with my dress and veil so I was very happy! She also did my sister's hair and makeup, along with my mom and aunt's makeup. We were all done ahead of time, which was amazing! If I ever have another special occasion event to attend, I might just give Jill a call!

In my ideal world, Jill Anderson would do my makeup every morning before I left the door. Having said that, a person's wedding day should be their ideal and I was thrilled to have Jill and her team work on the bridesmaids and me.

Jill had all the key elements I was hoping for: trustworthy, prompt, responsive, reasonable, quick working understanding and best of all TALENTED. The look she gave me was natural there weren't any shots from any of the guests or photographers that showed any flaw in her work. We were done EARLY and she was able to make a change in the hair style I wanted on the fly.

Thank you, Jill and your wonderful team for making the morning of our wedding super special for my girls and me. I appreciate your professionalism and hope to keep in touch if I am ever in need for a make-up artist again.

Jill is professional, and awesome at the same time.  Thanks to the world of Yelp, I found Jill to do my hair and makeup for my wedding, and quickly scheduled a trial session.  She is so friendly, makes you feel at home, and I felt like we were talking as if we'd been friends for a long time.

On the day of my wedding, Jill and her team arrived at our hotel room bright and early in the morning, and ready to go!   She was able to work with some people in my bridal party that were not-so-easy to work with.  Jill maintains a professional attitude, and works hard to keep her client happy.  HUGE KUDOS to Jill and her team who helped with those in my family who were a little bit difficult and way too blunt.  Jill kept us on time, and we were ready to go, as scheduled.

I would definitely book with Jill for other occasions.  I'm not that much of a makeup person, but she has a specific eye, and knows not to cake on the makeup, and goes with whatever type of look that you are looking for.  If you're reading this, Jill, thanks so much!  I'm so grateful!

I had a trial with Jill. I love the way she did my hair updo and natural make up that lasted for the whole day. Her price is very reasonable. She is very nice and she answers her email promptly.

Jill and her team were very professional. They were on time on my wedding day. She brought 2 artists with her. She did my hair and make up. She was able to execute the hairstyle that I liked. My updo looks amazing on pictures. Most of the guests complimented my hairstyle. I have an oily skin but my make up lasted for more than 14 hours.

Her team did well with my bridesmaid too. They all looked gorgeous and very pretty on that day!

I definitely recommend Jill to all brides looking for a make up artist.

It all turned out so beautiful!  Despite all the chaos that goes on with any wedding day, the hair and makeup, as well as your professionalism, was one thing I didn't have to worry about. Jill is amazing. She's so professional and down-to-earth at the same time. She just loves what she does, which is why she's so good at it. You tell her what you want, and she'll produce the results. And if you want her to change even the smallest aspect, she'll do it. My favorite part about her service is that she is not snooty at all (unlike so many holier than thou make-up artists in the wedding business I spoke to), and she produces what so many others charge double to triple the price for. I originally tried her out because she had THE best rates I could find for both hair and make-up...and after a couple trials and the day-of service, I realized that her work out-competes the other ($$$$)...

I LOVE Jill!! I used Jill for my Wedding back in 06, this was when she was just starting out. She only did my makeup then, I love her work. Jill did a great job that I recommended her for my sister in laws wedding in October 08, she did both hair and makeup, and her work gets better every time!! Her prices are AWESOME!!!

My husband is a photographer and he uses her for all the creative photo shoots!! BTW she is also a great model!!
